Please Note:
The 'Valved' exhaust retains the use of exhaust valves. When switching drive modes (e.g. Comfort to Dynamic mode) your exhaust tone will continue to swop from quieter to louder tones as before.
The 'Non-Valved' exhaust removes the use of exhaust valves. When switching drive modes (e.g. Comfort to Dynamic mode) your exhaust tone will not change from quieter to louder as before. Using a Non-Valved exhaust will not harm the running of your vehicle, you will simply not have exhaust sound options, however the Cobra Sport exhaust has been designed with this in mind.
Press Release
The Audi S3 has been a long time favourite amongst hot hatch fans. The new S3 (8Y) follows on from the success of its predecessor: the S3 (8V). Audi have gone to great lengths to make sure that the new version of their Quattro, all-wheel drive hot-hatch is improved over the outgoing model.
As a result, the revised EA888 2.0 TSI now produces 306bhp, which when teamed up with Quattro all-wheel drive, fires the new S3 from a standstill to 62 MPH in just 4.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 155 MPH.
The S3 has seemingly limitless tuning potential. Cobra Sport have enjoyed enormous success in this field, with their performance exhausts for both the 8P and 8V Audi S3's being amongst the best-selling systems in the market.
Aiming to replicate this success, Cobra Sport are proud to announce their latest product range for the Audi S3 (8Y). Over the past few months, their R&D team have been hard at work developing a range of performance exhaust systems that will cater to the needs of any Audi enthusiast.
The new Cobra Sport exhaust range is available in GPF Back configuration initially with de-cat/sports cat downpipe parts available later this year.
Cobra Sport has opted for large 3" 76.2mm stainless steel pipework for the biggest upgrade in terms of performance, flow rate and sound levels. The free flowing expertly TIG welded Cobra Sport exhaust setup will open up the future tuning possibilities of the Audi S3.
The GPF Back performance exhaust systems can be fitted without the need for any engine tuning as it keeps the stock catalyst and GPF in place (MOT compliant). The static sound testing revealed a +5dB increase in non-resonated GPF Back form on the 3,800rpm test.
