This Ford Mustang GT 5.0 V8 Cat Back performance exhaust is made with 3" (76.2mm) diameter T304 stainless pipework and replaces centre silencer, link pipes and rear boxes.
This exhaust will still enable you to pass a UK MOT emissions test or police road side checks.
Please Note -
The 'Valved' exhaust retains the use of exhaust valves. When switching drive modes (e.g. Eco to Race mode) your exhaust tone will continue to swop from quieter to louder tones as before.
The 'Non-Valved' exhaust removes the use of exhaust valves. When switching drive modes (e.g. Eco to Race mode) your exhaust tone will not change from quieter to louder as before. Using a Non-Valved exhaust will not harm the running of your vehicle, you will simply not have exhaust sound options, however the Cobra Sport exhaust has been designed with this in mind.

Ever since the right-hand drive Mustang GT was launched, the 5.0 V8 has become a firm favourite with UK petrol heads. Aggressive muscle car looks, matched with a lively rear-wheel drive chassis and that thundering V8 make for an exciting machine.
Cobra Sport was quick to spot the potential of the 5.0 V8 and developed a performance exhaust system for the original model. But they didn’t rest there. Over the last few months they’ve been busy working on a valved system that fully integrates with the Ford drive modes on facelift 2018+ vehicles. The end result is a beautifully made system that offers the best of both worlds.
This innovative setup utilises both valves, something no other exhaust manufacturer has so far been able to achieve. It means Mustang owners can now take advantage of a thundering sound when they want it (especially in Sport+ mode), but at the flick of a dial, lower the volume for cruising.
Like all Cobra Sport exhausts, the Mustang GT valved system is TIG-welded from high-quality T304 stainless steel. The mandrel-bent pipework is a full 3in (76.2mm) in diameter, which is larger than any competitor systems, to ensure maximum gas flow.
The centre silencer is replaced with a much freer-flowing 3in H-pipe with link pipes and pipework to the rear silencers and there’s a choice of 4in (101.6mm) tailpipes, including inward rolled and inverted slash-cut in highly polished finish, ceramic-coated Blackout or carbon fibre (both cost options).
The stock catalysts and GPF remain in place so there are no issues with emissions come MoT time. This is a direct replacement for the stock system, with the impeccable fit and finish you’d expect from one of the UK’s leading performance exhaust specialists.
