Astra Coupe Turbo Project Build
I've owned this car for about 10 years-ish and was originally bought as a donor for another project that never got going. When I bought it I drove it around for 6 days until a neighbour reversed into it outside my house and bent the drivers door and smashed the window.
Not wanting to spend any money fixing it (as it was supposed to be getting broken anyway) it was parked up and left.
After moving around from my house, down to my previous place of work, back home and then finally down at the workshop, here it sat for 4 years gathering grime.
It's been used as a test bed for mocking up different parts so has various bits missing off.
In July I decided enough was enough, rolled it out and washed it down to see what we have. To be fair it's in pretty good condition.
It's a 2001 Astra Coupe Turbo with 70k on it.
Car is standard apart from a Remus backbox and an iffy looking boost gauge.
As it stands the plan is to get it back running, fit it with loads of Imperial parts and track it.
It's no doubt going to be a slow project (I've only had 10 years lol) and will fit it in around work.
I've got a lift that I'm fitting at the moment so as soon as that's in it's going up in the air to have a thorough check over and see what underside is like.
In the meantime, checkout my youtube channel. I'm going to be posting updates on the progress as well as other (hopefully) useful/interesting videos of what goes on at Imperial Performance.
